please see if you can help me, here's my problem... this happend to my ipod touch - the white lettering and whatnot BUT the comp. or itunes will not recongnize my ipod when I plug it in. I have been the the apple store like three times and they have been of ZERO help. they say they can't do anything about it b/c It was my fault since I tryed to jailbreak it.
