When this bear died of a hear attack my grandfather gave him mouth to mouth for over an hour til they got to a vet. That was his baby and he got better care than any animal or human could be. I hear you Knightarm1. My father was a pro wrestler and in the late 50's and early 60's he traveled around wrestling a bear named Vic the Bruiser. The bear always thought it was play time. And the bear lived an ripe old age. People didn't get the treatment that bear received.

WOW I grew up with Victor. My dad was a pro wrestler and had worked with Tuffy, Victors owner, for years. He lived in Chino Ca.I would spend weekends with tuffy and his wife lena. Victor was a good bear and this video brings back many fond memories. Victor died a few years after this was filmed. he was more like a dog than a bear and for the record Victor had NO claws or front teeth and was a pet and paert of the family.

I posted this video,and I wrestled victor back in the early 70's.He was well cared for and well trained.Some of you people need to get a life.Victor did these matches all over the U.S. I as well as 3 others that night wrestled him in Wildwood New Jersey.The owner gave specific instructions not to punch victor or he would swat back and could really hurt you.He was big,very strong for sure.All you folks related to Tuffy should be proud.He was a cool guy with a cool act.
