I thought this game had nothing to do with chrono trigger (even though it said it was a sequel on the back of the original case) until I made it into the see of eden. When you operate the computer in one of the buildings you see computer data on lavos. Also, when you talk to that guy with the glasses that you have to fight later he makes reference to the group of fighters that faught against lavos. I was surprised because I thought I would never see any reference to chronotrigger lol

Nah, because my brother said the girl on the back of the creature at the end has pretty much something entirely to do with CT. I think that was the princess and the beast was a Lavos Spawn or something. For the rest of the game, nothing was similar.

Never played the game. So i don't know everything about it. I just know that the end had pretty much everything to do with CT. So i don't know about anything else. But then again, you have to ask if there's ANYTHING that could ruin CT.

the girl is schala and that creature is Lavos. Chrono Cross just takes place in a different timeline that the one Chrono Trigger ended. It's basically a timeline where crono and the rest of the gang hadn't stopped loves.

They want to make a new game for the chrono series, but they want to use the same team they used on the previous ones so it has the same 'feeling' to it as the other 2 games. Problem is that some of the makers of the original games, have moved to Monolith and the ones in Square-Enix are now very busy with FFXI.
