The dog can probably hears Luna (though humans can't) and Luna seems to hear and enjoy doggies bark. Doggie seems to be saying come closer because he stops barking when Luna comes close, but calls him when he doesn't come close enough or is still submerged. Amazing! Thanks for the post.

SUCH AN AMAZING BOND!!! Sad that a boat killed the whale.... God forbid we research how to create boats with rubbery sterns(like whales?) that don't fucking kill sea creatures.
