Mr. Stork (played, as in Dumbo, by Sterling Holloway) delivers a lion to a family of sheep. While his mother takes a liking to him, he gets teased by his "brother" lambs. But when Lambert grows up, his kin change their opinion on him.

Susie the car...really cute cartoon! - mickeys disney store.com
This is so cute! :D And the ending is so funny! "Don't worry about the hungry wolf, he had a place to cling. He won't starve, because that bush has berries...every spring"
lmao. It was at 7:27 that made it truly a disney classic.
Freakin' AWESOME!! I remember this cartoon!!! I also find it hilarious that Disney trademarked the "goof yell" everytime a character (in any Disney cartoon) falls ar gets pushed off a high place! lol "AH HA HA HOOOOO!!!" ROFL!
I love how the cartoons added something sad or emotion to the story. Nowadays they only smile like forever and their just plain mean.
Movie keeps pausing
Why is it always a wolf...?
i love this one it's so cute. now i can show and tell
AWW! This cartoon is cute. I love the part where Lambert finds his mother.
Yes, me neither. I remember when I had this cartoon when I was very young, after the sheep stopped singing while carrying Lambert on their backs, the picture then became frozen where the cartoon ended there. Maybe the directors and producers added that extra scene with the wolf clinging on the branch after they finished filming this or, they filmed it all over again deciding to include the wolf clinging on the branch so the audience will know what happened to him after Lambert pushed him.
Yeah, I thought it was cut off at 7:55. I don't remember the wolf clinging to the branch.
To: Whoever posted this Re: Lambert the Sheepish Lion Thank You Sir/Madam! May you be blessed for this! Disney may have forgotten about these but we haven't! Thank You!
Hey, thanks for posting this! I haven't seen it in years and I still have that tune in my head from when I saw it as a kid. I've always loved this one! : )
The branch has berries on it....every spring! Priceless!! Thanks for uploading a great cartoon! I haven't seen it in years and somehow remembered every word of the song! Good things tend to stick with you I suppose! Thanks again!
sheeps are JERKS!!
As soon as Lambert saw that wolf howling on the cliff and then seeing the sheep, he should have quickly woken up the other sheep instead of just acting scared. Also from 6:22-6:27, Lambert's mother was lucky that the wolf didn't bite off her tail.
I used to have this cartoon when I was very young, and everything here on YouTube was the same but at the end, the spot from 7:58-8:17 was cut off.
Me too. When I was very young, the only part that used to scare me here was at 7:10 when hearing that music and seeing Lambert making an angry face. Some people would tell me that he's turning bad at that spot, and some people told me that he's getting angry. (I'm sure it was the second thing when he was getting angry and just trying to act brave as a lion being the strongest one).
Two other things: 1. This cartoon is also on my 25th Anniversery DVD of my favorite movie "The Fox and the Hound!" 2. This cartoon is 10x better than The Lion King!
7:48 LOLZ !
loved this as a kid!
classic will always be the best :D
I've been walking around the house singing this for a week now!! ha-ha Fabulous memories! Thank you :)
OH MY CHILDHOOD.
I love Sterling Holloway's voice... So comforting and familiar... no new carttons have original sounding voices like his...
