Exactly. A year or few from now, when 95% of people are watching their tv online and there are enforced commercial breaks every 7 minutes of any given show, we'll look back on the golden age of occasional 30 second advert breaks.

@nathanfornash He didn't get lost. He spun out going to fast.

He's pretty funny but John Oliver is currently the funniest Britsh comedian.

  5. Feb 20, 2010 at 04:29 PM by iamaladycanyousaveme

Lol what a nutter, he went like mad round that track.

  6. Feb 18, 2010 at 07:32 PM by nathanfornash

He came back at a later season and got lost on the track, so he has the strange record of being fastest and slowest.

  7. Feb 18, 2010 at 07:32 PM by nathanfornash

I believe he has the record for the fastest time as well as the slowest time. He returned in a later season, got lost on the track, and posted the slowest time.

  14. Feb 1, 2010 at 02:26 PM by 211lovely

i though that jimmy carr was slow and did it in 2 min

  15. Jan 30, 2010 at 01:59 PM by Calvinux

When they replaced the Suzuki Leana with the Chevrolet Lacetti in the first episode of season 8, the rules were changed so that they timed one lap which counted and Jimmy Carr lost control of the car at the second to last corner and turned the wrong way at gambon.

Jay was on Top Gear this August I believe and he mentioned that segment in the interview. Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is what inspired the idea and he acknowledged that (Top Gear is his favorite TV show).

The date doesn't work the same way with official TV networks' YouTube channels. When uploading a series, they enter the air date of the episode and that replaces the upload date that everyone else has.

wow! Hows it say on the top where the date of the youtube upload is done it says 14 nov 2004. Youtube didn't exsist in 2004!
