    It's nice that appreciate nature, and I suggest you enjoy it while you can because we're way past the tipping point where we could have avoided a global warming catastrophe. In brief, the Western World (Europe, US, etc.) is much poorer than it appears and the East (Russia, China, etc.) is much richer than it appears. The West doesn't have the money to do anything meaningful to stop catastrophic change, we should all prepare for it. We may end up with a 500M population, but it won't be pretty.

    Paretto thought once that Newton's laws are very similar to social and economical laws, but in reality are two total different disciplines not do to mathematical sophistication because they now share a lot of topology, partial differential equations, dynamic programming, calculus of variations, numerical methods, etc that theory only serves to describe phenomena, but the problem actually is to think that economical and social agents behave like a particle in fluid or in quantum field.
