Watch this elephant paint a beautiful image of an elephant holding a flower. You'll be amazed at how her talent unfolds as she carefully completes each stroke. Her mahout talks to her throughout the process as his gentle touch gives her confidence. She focuses on her work and seems to enjoy the approval of the audience and, of course, the sugar cane and banana treats. All of her training has been reward based. So touched by their horrific backgrounds and loving personalities, ExoticWorldGifts.com now supports, "Starving Elephant Artisans" by selling their paintings so they can continue to have a new life in Thailand. Own a print of the art for $35. Some Thai elephant experts believe that the survival of the Asian elephant species will most likely depend on the good treatment of the elephants in well managed privately owned elephant camps. All of us would prefer that all of the elephants be free to be in the wild. For many reasons, that is not possible at this time. You can learn more and purchase these unique paintings at www.ExoticWorldGifts.com

@RimKo7 Explain how she comes back to re-paint the same lines. And how she twists her trunk to move the line across the page.
are you kidding? it'd take a super powerful magnet to overcome an elephant's strength.
Magnet to what ? The bristles? Seraynaface is right also if there were a magnet the force would not nearly be enough to guide an elephant, besides how can a magnet change where the elephant first places the brush..
how the hell would it me a magnet?? paint isnt magnetic?
That's amazing.
@RimKo7 Fake? Because the trunk shakes? Have you ever watched somene paint? Just about any painters hand shakes before they apply the brush to the paper in which the eisel holds it. And even if it was a magnet, the force wouldn't be that great the elephant would overcome.
It's so fake!!! Yiu could see that its a magnet behind, every time she gets near the paper it shakes a bit and then like drown to the paper!!! come on!!!
amazing! :D
FAKE
@RustedPlatinum Right, totally. I think we all want to believe that the elephants recognize the images they are being guided to create - and the documentary on it I had seen would certainly give that impression. It isn't until you do a little digging that you get the facts, but that is not to take away from the achievements of these animals.
@jastaiti Like I said before, it is impressive! Even if she is being guided by a tug on her ear where to lay the brush down, it still requires a great amount of intelligence and dexterity.
@stupidpoopname Even if it is always the same painting she does, isn't that still cool?
This video is proof that elephants are intelligent creatures! This is a great video! I'm so happy it has over 5 million hits! I hope there are more in the future!
excelente no lo puedo creer
how is that possible???? but it is amazing!!
u mean u r an elefant? :))

I can do better than that!
this is the coolest elephant ever! ELEPHANTS ARE COOL!!
I wish I was wrong. Do a little research.
I know that elephant, he always make the same painting!
u r wrong
So you think that no animal can be smarter than you??? What a joke! You haven't a clue. TFB
incredibile
I didn't say that they can't recognize images, it's just my opinion that this elephant was taught to paint this image. What I'm trying to say through my comment is that humans and elephants think in completely different ways. To understand the elephant you must BE an elephant. All animals think in entirely different ways and no species has the right to say they are the smartest because there IS NO smartest when you think about how varied thought patterns could potentially be.
