The differences of Lelouch and Light: Lelouch was stripped of his very being by his bastard father after the murdering of his mother, years later when the actual series starts has the motives and justifications for his actions and also to protect his frail, blind little sister and create something decent for her to live in. Light on the hand, has no motives but a shrewd view of justice, he is psychopatic, only killing people he sees "evil" or "scum" from the comfort of his house.
