I have been to Thunder Bay, driving into the city coming form the east, all you see is trees, rocks, and the road...
You pass a rock cliff..and BLAMO!!
There is a monsterous statue of Terry Fox.
Thunder Bay is one the most beutiful cities in Ontario, Trapped between Boreal Forest, Canadian Shield, and Lake Superior..
However, one of the best things, is that from downtown if you look far enough, you can see this giant statue of Terry Fox...
RIP Terry Fox

This was one of those special souls who the Lord had a plan for and had existed solely for that purpose....in our lifetime there are people who i believe are truly touched by the hand of God...Gandhi, MLK, Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela just to name a few and Terryfox was truly one of those people, he will never be forgotten.

VANOC screwed up big time...
How could they not honor Terry Fox in a more approriate manner?

I think we should officially nominate Terry Fox for greatest human being ever, histories greatest person. Aside from being able to physically do what very few can do ( with both of there legs and without lung cancer.) His story is one of inspiration and hope that I don't think anyone has ever touched. I like to think of that no matter what you do in life, you could never equal what terry fox has done, and he probably had less time to do it than you did.

I am a proud Canadian, and was hoping Terry would have lit the flame at the Olympics. I think most Canadians were hoping the same thing.
